We’re inviting every partner to serve/participate in a service/ministry and encounter God in new and unfamiliar contexts, fostering inter-congregational, inter-age group, and cultivating a heart for service beyond comfort zones.
Example A: I am in the English Congregation and I serve in the worship ministry. I sign up to serve in the Usher ministry of the Filipino congregation.
– An email will be sent to the Filipino congregation representative.
– The representative will connect with the participant to determine suitability.
– Participant serves at the Filipino congregation.
– The participant will receive a link to confirm attendance and share their reflection/feedback.
Example B: I am in the Chinese congregation and I want to serve in the Nepali congregation Snack Team.
– An email will be sent to the Filipino congregation representative.
– Participant turn up on the date and time given.
– The participant will receive a link to confirm attendance and share their reflection/feedback.
Cross-Serve is a realisation of a vision to create a platform for our partners to encounter God by stepping out.
Here’s what you can do:
– Look at the list and ask God to show you where to go.
– You can:
* Serve/observe in a ministry of the congregation you’re in.
* Serve/observe in a ministry of another congregation.
* Visit another congregation’s service.
